DVM

Wendy Cullen

Dr. Wendy Cullen grew up on a farm in southern Ontario and has always had a keen interest in medicine, how the body works and a deep love for animals.

After graduating from high school in Dunnville, Ontario, Wendy went first to the University of New Brunswick for Marine Biology and then transferred to Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS with a major in Neuroscience. Following graduation and two years of working in research, she then went on to the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI where she graduated in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Wendy started her career in equine medicine and small animal practice. After several years of this, she moved back to Ontario and ended up in London. Here she worked both small animal day practice and emergency medicine. Although she found emergency medicine and surgery to be thrilling and fulfilling, Dr. Wendy wanted to spend more time with her growing family and eventually moved primarily over to small animal medicine and surgery.

In 2018 Dr. Wendy began doing some shifts at the Caradoc Animal Clinic and has been able to develop her surgical skills under the guidance of Dr. David Kirby. Eventually she came to be here full time and has loved it ever since.

Dr. Wendy lives on a farm outside of West Lorne with her two boys, a dog, 4 cats and several chickens. She enjoys being active with rowing and cycling and various other activities with her family.
